About Us

Located on the edge of Haldimand County, between Hamilton, Caledonia and Binbrook, we are less than an hour’s drive to the New York State border, a number of major grain processing operations, and the Port of Hamilton, a thriving gateway to global markets.

Owned and operated by Andreas Thomsen-Jung, our experience, local land knowledge, and commitment to excellence make us a reliable, stable and successful farming operation. Andreas comes from four generations of farmers, holds a degree in agriculture business and management, and strategically chose our current location in the heart of the Golden Horseshoe to grow the business.

We are experts in getting the best out of Southern Ontario farmland planted in corn, soybean and wheat, and create the ideal conditions for all our crops to excel. We are regional leaders in new crop management strategies, and provide high-quality services to our clients and landowners.

How We Farm

Our farming techniques combine modern innovation and solid farming experience to grow high-quality crops, on good land, with excellent results.

We make fertilization plans for each acreage using GPS-referenced soil samples for reliable measurement. GPS technology on our equipment helps us navigate fields accurately to minimize compaction and overlap. Combined with minimum and no-till tillage practices, we avoid erosion and maintain the soil in peak condition to produce successful results.

Our agronomists use the latest agricultural and biotechnology research to create individual planting and harvesting programs for every piece of land we farm, including customized and responsible pest and weed control.
